Museum Educators

Seeking Indigenous Peoples interested in sharing their cultural Lifeways and/or domestic arts as museum educators.  We are also interested in hearing from non-Native individuals who have experience in, are studying or have a degree in a related field (such as anthropology, archaeology or Native American studies).  Museum Educators are paid hourly on an ad-hoc basis, including for any necessary training.

Volunteer Docents

Also seeking volunteer docents should be welcoming, friendly and willing to undergo minor training in general subject areas.  Perfect for retired teachers!  College and graduate students seeking course credit, unpaid internships or independent study projects are also encouraged to apply.

Both educators and docents must be personable, outgoing and comfortable teaching all ages and abilities in an interactive and inviting manner.  Must be willing to work outdoors.

All educators and volunteer docents must be background checked.  Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and will remain on file for one year.
