Nowashe Village is owned and operated by the Friends of Wood Memorial Library & Museum, which is led by a part-time staff and dedicated board of directors.
Carolyn Venne, Executive Director

Carolyn is a graduate of Babson College and has worked in corporate sales and marketing, survey research project management and more than 15 years in nonprofit management and program development. During her time as a stay-at-home mom of twins, she served as a member of Friends of Wood Memorial Library’s Board of Directors before being named executive director in January 2017. She and her family live in South Windsor.
Jessica Vogelgesang, Communications Director

Jessica has a BA in journalism and an MA in communications. Originally from Colorado, Jessica relocated to South Windsor in 2004. First a volunteer and then a board member, Jessica was named interim executive director in February 2015.
