SPECIAL PROGRAMMING: Family Friendly: Scouts and Soldiers: Native Americans in the Colonial Militias and Wars (1750-1780s):
This program is presented by Anthropologist Drew Shuptar-Rayvis (Pocomoke). A practical black powder demonstration with discussion of the importance and technological evolution of firearms is included in this program, venue permitting.
The cost of this program is $20 for adults and $15 for students (ages 6+ and college students with ID). Please note that the cost of this program includes museum admission to Nowashe Village on July 10th. Registration in advance is required.
