Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation (NAGPRA)

The Native American artifacts Display Room
is currently Closed Indefinitely.

As of January 2024, the Friends has taken steps to implement updated Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation (NAGPRA) regulations, which means not displaying cultural objects without prior written consent.  While no requests for repatriation have been made, there are items in the permanent building collection that need review. Visit our website for further details and updates as to when the exhibits will reopen.

We apologize for any inconvenience!
